At The Alden Apartments at Washington Park, we want to make your apartment search process easier.  Our professional management team is dedicated to helping you find the answers to your most commonly asked questions. If you have a leasing question, would like to schedule a tour, or if we missed something, please ask.

We’ve put together the top questions that may be on your mind before signing a lease. Our current and future residents are our top priority. Whether you’re a first-time renter or you have been renting an apartment for a while, these questions will help you to learn more about what makes our community one of a kind.

THE BUILDING HAS CHANGED A LOT RECENTLY, WHAT'S GOING ON?

Under new ownership, the building has undergone a significant overhaul of the common areas, to include inside individual units.

As renovations continue, there’s more to come! We seek to provide the absolute best apartment living experience possible so that you love where you live!

WHAT LEASE TERMS DO YOU OFFER?

We offer a standard 12 month lease.

WHAT UTILITIES ARE INCLUDED IN THE RENT?

Heat, Water, Sewer and Trash are included in your rent.

Residents are responsible for their own Electric, and cable/internet.

WHAT UTILITY COMPANIES ARE USED?

Electric/Gas: We Energies

Internet: Spectrum

Water/Sewer (provided): Milwaukee Water Works

Trash (provided): Eagle Disposal

HOW DO I DO MY LAUNDRY?

The laundry room is located in the basement and has undergone a full renovation with 8 brand new commercial machines, seating and folding area with free WiFi and phone charging station.

Completely coinless, these machines use a convenient mobile app instead, downloadable from the Google or Apple Store. Money is loaded onto the app via debit/credit/gift cards and used for individual wash/dry cycles. 

Watch progress and receive notifications when your load is complete, even if you leave the property. 

IS THERE PARKING AVAILABLE?

Street parking is available off the main entrance on W Lisbon Ave and side entrance on N. 44th St.

Off-street Reserved Parking and Private Garages are available to rent.

HOW ARE REPAIRS TAKEN CARE OF?

Maintenance is addressed promptly by our onsite maintenance team.

Work Orders can be submitted online via the Resident Portal.

WHAT'S YOUR PET POLICY?

Pets are not allowed on the property, even temporarily.

HOW CAN I PAY MY RENT?

Rent is paid online through the Resident Portal.

IS THERE PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION NEARBY?

We are conveniently located directly on the 57 Walnut-Appleton and 30 (HF) Sherman-Wisconsin Lines.

We are also a couple blocks South of the 21 (HF) North Avenue Line.

HOW DO I RECEIVE/RETURN AN AMAZON PACKAGE?

Your Amazon packages will arrive downstairs in the main foyer automatically. You’ll input/scan your Amazon provided code and corresponding door will open on the Amazon Apartment Hub to retrieve your package. 

For returns, place your items inside the Amazon Apartment Hub in the main foyer, follow Amazon instructions selecting it as the pickup location, and your return will be complete!
